Prepare your mind, heart, and soul

“Examine the Scriptures every day to see what is true”

Acts 17:11 NIV

All Christian believers are encouraged to spend some time each day reading the Scripture and to contemplate how what they read can be incorporated into our daily lives.

This cannot be more true or appropriate than in the week leading up to Easter Sunday, Christ’s Resurrection.

Sure, the story is familiar and the week can be busy. There are, for most, extra worship services and perhaps a family gathering to get ready for.

But now is not the time to neglect the spiritual nourishment we all need.

To help, I have assembled a Daily Devotion for each day of Holy Week. Beginning with Palm Sunday—Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem—and ending on Easter Sunday, the day of Jesus’ Resurrection.

Here is an outline of daily “Holy Week Devotions” for spiritual refreshment and reflection. Just click on the title to be taken to each day’s devotion. They can also be found on the Devotions  page.

There you have it. Make the commitment to spend this Holiest of Holy Weeks in reverence, study, and prayer. Involve your family, friends, and fellow believers by sharing these Devotions with them.

May all your days, especially this Easter season, be filled with God’s grace, mercy, and forgiveness.

Peace Be with You!

He Is Risen
